MIDDLE SCHOOL


Today is an A day.


Grade 8 eats first today and will be dismissed at the 11:31 bell while grades 7 and 6 remain in their classrooms for 1 minute.   Release to activities will begin at 11:45. Thank you for helping keep the commons clean by picking up after yourselves when you finish eating.


The Media Center is open to students to play cards, board games, SUDUKO or to read from 11:45 - 12:00 each day.  Please finish eating your lunch in the commons before coming in.


Middle school students are not permitted to stay after school unless they are participating in a specific activity supervised by an adult, coach or faculty member.  Attending a 4:30 MS sports event is included in this expectation…..you must be supervised after school or return to school at 4:30 for the event.


HIGH SCHOOL


Students are reminded to be checking their school emails daily beginning or end of  period 2 and also 3:05 (end of period 8).  


Juniors and Seniors will be served first at lunch today.  The HS gym will open at 11:08 for shooting baskets and hallways doors opened at 11:13 for re-entry into the high school.  Thank you in advance for helping keep the commons clean by picking up after yourselves when you finish eating.


HS Boys Basketball & Wrestling seasons starts TODAY at 3:15.  Athletes must have all documents on file in the MS/HS office to actively participate.  Tardy lunch detentions must also be served each day to be eligible to practice.


Wednesday will be a regular day for all high school students. Our PreACT results workshop is still delayed as we wait for the results. 



Yearbook Fundraiser Pick-up is Wednesday, November 20, 2019! You must pick up your orders, we do not have room here at school to store them. Items will be ready by 3:00pm in the Commons and need to be picked up by 4:00pm. Questions? See Ms. Lee or Selena Noble.



FBLA Members: Reminder, we will be decorating the school purple tonight. Also wear purple tomorrow to support Prematurity Awareness and the March of Dimes.


MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL


BIG BUCK CONTEST: The FFA is once again hosting a contest for the largest buck harvested during the regular gun-deer season. Enter to win a gift card by bringing FIVE(5) non-perishable food items to Mr. VanEgtern(room 312) by Friday, November 22. The head must be brought in by Tuesday, December 3 for scoring. Boone and Crocket scoring will be used.


Peanut Butter, Jelly and Pasta Wars: The FFA is holding a food drive for the Gathering Source until Wednesday, December 18. For every jar of peanut butter, jelly, or pasta sauce, or each box of pasta, you will have your name entered into a drawing for a pair of AirPods. Please drop off items in Mr. VanEgtern’s room(312) before or after school or during lunch.


Lunch for Today: K-12 Chicken & Noodles and 9-12 Black Bean Quesadilla, Brussels Sprouts, Stewed Tomatoes, Sugar Snap Peas and Assorted Fruit.


Tomorrow’s Lunch: K-12 Whole Grain Soft Shell Tacos, Refried Beans, Mexicali Corn, Roasted Zucchini and Assorted Fruit.
