Today is a “B” day.  Grade 8 eats lunch first today followed by grades 7 then 6.  Grades 8 & 7 have activity time in the HS gym today. Activity time will not start until 11:05 so students need to take their time and eat instead of throwing food away.

Order your yearbook before it’s too late! Yearbook orders are due February 25th, which is soon. Extra books will not be ordered, so this is your last chance to guarantee that you will get a book. Your Advisory teacher will have forms or your family can order online: If you have any questions, please see Ms. Lee.

Extended Due Date:  Kids Heart Challenge envelopes and donations will be due tomorrow Friday, February 22nd.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Garland

Students desiring to order letter jackets may do so on Wednesday, February 27th (date changed from 2/20) during the lunch period.  A deposit of $100 is required when placing your order and checks must be written to MECA Sportswear.

SENIORS, please check your emails for a form asking about your high school activities and quotes. Also, senior and baby photos are due March 1st (reminder these photos are also used in local newspaper graduation celebrations). That is only a couple of weeks from now. Please get those in! Thank you, Yearbook Staff.

Summer Driver’s Ed:  Sign up for Driver’s Ed will start on March 19.  Watch the summer school booklet next month for more information on how to register online.

JV and Varsity Boys Basketball play at home tonight against Valley Christian.  JV begins at 6:00 and Varsity at 7:15.


The Cat’s Pajamas – Vocal Band is coming to the Dodgeland on March 5th (Tuesday) at 7:00pm. You are invited to bring your whole family to the Multi-Purpose Room to enjoy an evening of a cappella music and fun! The Cat’s Pajamas - Vocal Band is a five person a cappella group that has been touring around the world since 2005 and has recently been featured on Next Great American Band, America’s Got Talent and season 3 of NBC’s The Sing-Off. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults in advance. ($7 and $12 at the door.) Children 5 and under are free! Tickets are available for purchase at the Elementary and Middle/High School office, as well as at Jahnke’s Piggly Wiggly.

Lunch for Today: K-12 Chicken & Noodles and 6-12 Vegetable Quesdilla, Carrots, Broccoli, Green Beans and Assorted Fruit.

Tomorrow’s Lunch: K-12 Mozarella Dippers with Tomato Sauce, Sauteed Mushrooms & Onions, Peas, Mixed Vegetables and Assorted Fruit.
